The No. 91 car driven by Austria’s Richard Lietz and Giammi Bruni initially scored second, however was subsequently disqualified due to an irregularity in the ride height.
It was a race all on the attack. Starting from the last position due to a problem in the qualifying, the 91 Porsche could manage to achieve the second place thanks to an extraordinary pace of the drivers. But in post-race scrutineering the #91 Porsche 911 RSR’s ride height was found to be 2mm lower than the minimum permissible 50mm, resulting in its disqualification.
Gimmi: I am so disappointed about this disqualification. The points for the championship were so important. But these are racing and when everything is calculated at the limit you can run into these errors and compromises the result of the whole race.
Now we can only wait the next rounds and collect as much points as possible.
