A weekend started perfectly thanks to a Pole position snatched by Gimmi from the Porsche n 92 at the end of the qualifying session. But the race was not so pleasant; at the start the car n 92 driven by Kevin Estre thwarted any attempt to maintain the lead by touching the Porsche n 91 driven by Gimmi and causing a puncture. From that moment on, it was not possible to close the gap of two laps that the 91 had accumulated to stop in the pits to change the tyre. In 6 hours of race, Gimmi stayed in the car for four hours without making a driver change with his team-mate Richard Lietrz due to the weather conditions that conditioned the entire strategy.
